About
Hypnosis is a completely natural state of mind. There is
absolutely nothing strange or mysterious about it.
In fact, most of us enter hypnosis several times a day
without recognising it: have you ever been driving along
in your car, when you suddenly realise you haven't
noticed anything in the past few seconds, or even
minutes? You've been in hypnosis.
Have you ever been watching television and suddenly
realised that you've lost the plot? That's hypnosis.
Hypnosis happens when we focus on a single thought or
idea to the exclusion of all else. It is in this state
that the mind is open to suggestion therapy that can
bring about beneficial change in our lives.
Hypnosis is completely safe. Nobody can be made to say
or do anything under hypnosis that they wouldn't say or
do in a waking state. We are totally aware of our
surroundings and ourselves during hypnosis and we
remember everything that happens during it. We cannot
get 'stuck' in hypnosis, and we can bring ourselves out
of it at any moment we choose. We are always totally in
control of ourselves. |

Hypnosis is an absolutely safe means of changing our
lives for the better, or simply a very enjoyable way to
relax completely. And there are no unpleasant side
effects. |
